crucial question to get you into the insight so i came i grew up in india my early education

my school university college it’s all come from india

and i am born and brought up in a very sort of joined family so that means my father is the brother the sister the cats they all used to live in the same house time so it’s like almost thirty thirty five people living in the same house when i’m growing up

so you can see that sort of community and that sort of sharing thing comes from that side that we don’t have not from very rich family to come with this very middle class and average but we’ve been raised well so we’ve been told all the right

we used look after

your family look after your other sisters look after your cousins and then to go for a

always stressed on education he never accumulate any wealth in his lifetime but his wealth is his his value or whatever thas stand for whatever value stand for and sam still in me and my brothers and all as well so i think that was a very crucial part when i realized so early in my the importance of sharing the things with people staying in a community to help

with the career you chose requires ongoing education

it’s it’s a very very very competitive world out there and

it’s much difference when i’m just jumping at a little bit but when i moved

to the first time and i was

at that time i was speaking to my cousins and their friends and

all they are in the young they re in the youth as well and i saw that such a difference between the mind set and the people there and the

minds of other people when they’re growing

up here so they i mean we were so focused that what we’re going to do in future what carrier will

be like how how were earning our living what profession we will

be in that’s what the whole chat in our circle of friends circle

so this is quite a bit contrast when you compare the thing but that’s

what it is you know and you have to make the best of

yeah my cousin one of my cousins is dentist as well as she after my i sorted my things out example on she also i gave she came and stay with me she did all the dental example she is working as associate in birmingham as well

and now as i said my family not to be like you know putting the money money money they never put that thing in mind i wish they could have instilled some sort of finance sensibility to us

yeah but again that’s why always one might at that he was the most successful fail i ve seen in my life

yeah yeah so what was it that made that made you choose dentistry because you chose

dentistry and you qualified back in two thousand and six

then came over to the u k but what was it that

behind that is that i was supposed to be the medicine and that’s not

if you speak to most of the sistentis they have

because in india at war in a way that you go on the common entrance example and if you’ve got higher grades you go for medic and if you’ve

so you have two choices either to take what you get on that year or you

drop one year and wait for the next year and restate that example that’s all in the exam so one of my uncle my father’s eldest brother he is settled in ucaneinwale south wales he’s a chap in south wales and he always had a very big influence on me

that i’m growing up seeing him that he settled in u as where

supposed to do so i always compare the life of my mind are

as a doctor as well he was

but his problem was that he runs a charitable hospital all his lifetime

on the hospital it’s like charitable trust

so that means he won’t charge many people for that and then

because the practice of not god has to move toward the business of medicines and medical

go so i want to make a good balance of both the things to take the values of my dead and to the life style of my uncle so

so i went to sit on the median entrance exam but you have on the first year i haven’t got great i missed my medicine for one

point five marks so

i have a choice to wait for the whole year but then

how is that how is that received in your household you missed it by a few marks but of a common theme though isn’t it really and there

is to be a number of people who just missed out on things it’s quite fascinating

yeah it’s

a funk

i think you’re right i think quite you see people and you never hear about those those kind

of near missives they then go on to be successful

i have not attempted those questions would have because there’s a negative marking the few

but for a long time that’s another thing which i’ve been installed with my family my tides don’t recreate the things and they were on the top of the world they never said take up or why you mated to the medicine they said that’s fine

so lucky to a very good university i mean they’re very strict they’re very strict with their kind of education and

in south india like

i have to travel the same thing but i think some day mentioned in a spot cast that year

journey from my place to that is thirty two hours by train to university so it’s not like i can come on the week end on like that it’s like

so yeah you have to be starting

how long was that journey ministry

it’s thirty two hours by train
andy___chris:

thirty two hours day and a half and then to take the bus again

so it will take me almost one and a half to two days

to reach to my university from my place oh

it’s crazy isn’t it when you think of the size of the u k you put that into context it’s gonna say

you couldn’t actually take a train journey for thirty two hours i’m sure you could if you go sleeper train

but i got delayed was a strike a really remarkable remarkable

and and at that time you must imagine the indian trains at that time because we don’t as a student we were

not going any air conditioners or any of the a c coaches

the option to just on

general sleeper lass and we enjoyed

that i mean i had a really good fun traveling that way all my friends just push the bag

where you get a place you just sit on the or or whatever

i mean would complain it was a really good time in the university

i wasn’t in india went to egypt in in nineteen eighty eight and we took a train from cairo down to luxor as an overnight sleeper and when that rain came into the station there were hundreds of people on the roof

and when the train pulled into the station literally people just slid off the roof with their bags and left at the train station

like that was a class of travel

i was very feted by london i’m still fetid by london that’s

one city i’ve always been anybody asked me why you came to you guys say i came to live in london and aly love london as a city from the

very start you seen again my most of my life is in fluencedon family and the movies you know i’m really stupid to say that but hear the movies have such a big impact and i keep saying london

and so many movies all the time and say oh that’s the place to pay you know on

that was western movies as well as polly wood you

so yeah so i mean and also i’ve seen my uncle and my uncle always said that you come to your gate industry s er because that was always talking about the year two thousand four

to go for a post graduating in i ought to come here so i prefer to come and i mean i’ve been for my first couple of years and and you was amazing i’ve been very welcome with mac with your friends

and of course findancside was a big type but again i

was very very very lucky

very fortunate to have that to have support from my family sir at that time

and things were not better at all

but he obviously everything takes time o my people i moved from to

with my friends and all at that time two thousand five and six and seven we’re talking about

so they all managed to get past their exams by two thousand eight or nine maxim by two and then but i has got since then all

issues started happening with my stuff fitting exam visa

i try to apply for two years can we

say that time it got rejected some stupid mistake by my someone in the college

in india whom i have to write on the document the dime comment to ucaswohato gave

the document saying that i’m moving going on a holiday i’m taking a leaf from the college and going to ukanand

coming back and joining it

that lady didn’t know it when they called to confirm she said on the phone that don’t know door mornes

left for the uk he left you’re to okay so they put me on the charge that i provided some false documentation for the raise

and they said you are being to enter the ucipfor next ten years that’s
andy___chris:

the thousand eight we’re talking about

i have done too parts of my dentistry example

last part clinical part was left in two thousand and eight i booked that example

paid the fees twenty two hundred at that time to the east man and i was with all my lucgagion i think in dell just waiting for my vase

i didn’t arrive for one month and just before a week before the exam received in this letter t was a

shock that because i have done all my part one part two i did my king’s exams my wives and everything just last part left
andy___chris:

and then so i have to go back to the college and i didn’t realize that until that’s what happened so i ought i felt that decision with a code case so then i had my my uncle from the to move the case to u k so so they were

hearing and car different to nine and then i got to face a sane at the

reverse atisation my point was that you cannot ask just a reception

on the phone you have to obey the lector of the dean because on my document
