Dealing with CQC
The CQC is really complicated and changes all the time so you need to seek advice from a team that has a wealth of experience behind them. And depending on whether you are selling an NHS or Private practice, will affect how CQC is dealt with:

- A private practice sale will require the principal to de-register and the buyer to register with CQC
- An NHS practice sale will require the principal to de-register and then undertake a joint registration with the purchaser
